Objectives

At the conclusion of the Atlantic Radiology Conference, attendees (radiologists, fellows, residents, and medical imaging technologists) will be able to:

  • Identify ways in which sustainability can be improved in our departments
  • Review MSK MRI interpretation and indications and techniques for a wide spectrum of shoulder, knee, and hip pathologies
  • Describe CT lung cancer screening and lung nodule management
  • Review cardiac CT/MRI interpretation and indications and techniques with a focus on myocarditis and myocardial tissue characterization
  • Recognize acute thoracic aortic injuries on CTA/MRA
  • Understand how Canadian-specific diagnostic imaging referral guidelines have been developed for musculoskeletal and thoracic imaging
  • Distinguish between acute and chronic pulmonary embolism and identify cases of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension
  • Review CT protocol and interpretation for the diagnosis of interstitial lung disease
