Guest ticket cancellations 30 days prior to the conference will receive a refund minus a $50 administration fee. Since the dinner is supplemented by the Nova Scotia Association of Radiologists, there will be no compensation to radiologists who decide not to attend the dinner. There will be no refunds less than 30 days prior to the conference.

Description

We are once again bringing back our very popular Saturday Evening Dinner at the long-time favourite da Maurizio restaurant in historic downtown Halifax. If you are planning to bring your spouse or a guest, remember to register for them as well when you register for the conference.

Our da Maurizio dinner offers you a premier dining experience that has earned international attention for its exquisite variations on Italian cuisine. We have selected a custom prepared experience from their award-winning menu and wine list especially for your visit with us on this weekend.

Antipasti

Insalata Verde

Artisanal greens, roasted beets, butternut squash, goat cheese and candied pecans dressed with a cranberry port vinaigrette.

Secondo Piatto

Please choose from one of the four following:

Agnello Scottadito

Spice crusted rack of lamb served with a port and wild blueberry reduction.

Rombo al Limone

Oven roasted Atlantic halibut finished with a coconut milk, chili, lemongrass and shrimp sauce.

Spaghettini

Spaghettini sautéed with garlic, olive oil, chilies, fresh Italian parsley and Parmigiano.

Pappardelle

Pappardelle sautéed with braised rabbit, double smoked bacon, caramelized onions, 
tomato and demiglaze, topped with shaved Pecorino tartufo.

Torta

Apple pecan spice torte with brown sugar cream cheese frosting, served with maple gelato.
