We are pleased to host an International Society of Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) bone mineral density course for PHYSICIANS and TECHNOLOGISTS in conjunction with the Atlantic Radiology Conference. The ISCD is the leading membership organization for professionals working to assess, monitor and treat skeletal health. ISCD improves the quality of diagnosis, treatment and care provided to patients by promoting excellence in the field of bone densitometry www.iscd.org.
The physician track runs Friday 12 October 2018, finishing in time for the opening reception of the Atlantic Radiology Conference for those attending both events, while the technologist track runs Friday and Saturday morning.
The course provides a great opportunity for BMD physicians and technologists to improve their practice and enhance patient care in line with recommended standards. Renowned faculty include Canadian Radiologist / Nuclear Medicine physician Dr. William Leslie, past president of the ISCD, and Anita Colquhoun, MRT(N), CDT, charge technologist in the Centre for Osteoporosis & Bone Health at the Women’s College Hospital in Toronto.
Separate registration is required for the ISCD course: space is limited, so early registration is recommended. The early bird rate continues until September 7, 2018.
The ISCD certification exam for physicians and technologists will not be offered on site, but can be undertaken at PSI exam centres.
